2001-2002 Activity Highlights
The CAP-21 Center in the Greensleeves Building now houses two additional offices: the Central Adirondack Association's Economic Development Office (CAAEDO) in partnership with the Adirondack Economic Development Corporation, (AEDC) and the Fulton Chain of Lakes Performing Arts Council (FCLPAC). The CAAEDO Committee meets monthly, the office is staffed 4 days per month and offers SCORE services once a month. In addition to the following highlights of activities, the CAP-21 Center was used by numerous community groups as a regular meeting and workshop site: Hemmer Cottage Team (22), FCLPAC (6), Hanging Flower Basket Team (3), the Bald Mountain Fire Tower Preservation Team (4), and the Old Forge Cemetery Association (2). CAP-21 Board meetings were held at the office and at various sites throughout the region including the Town Halls of Inlet and Forestport, Raquette Lake School and the Northern Woods Bed & Breakfast in Stillwater.
